# World Continuity Review
Use when new lore, narrative, level, art, or game content must fit established world canon.
## Procedure
1. Identify the artifact's time, place, actors, canon dependencies, and world rules it invokes.
2. Check chronology against major events, ages, leadership, technologies, wars, migrations, discoveries, and character or faction knowledge available at that time.
3. Check geography and travel: distances, routes, climate, borders, terrain, resource access, and known location relationships.
4. Check systemic rules such as technology, magic, economics, religion, law, communication, medicine, or other setting-defining constraints for convenient exceptions.
5. Check faction and institution goals, capabilities, alliances, and consequences against their established state.
6. Check naming, terminology, titles, measurements, cultural practices, and visual or world identifiers for drift.
7. Distinguish true contradiction from intentional unreliable narration, secret knowledge, exceptional events, or an approved canon change.
8. Resolve conflicts by updating the artifact or explicitly revising canon, then record affected downstream references.
## Decision rules
- Continuity is causal consistency, not trivia policing.
- Intentional exceptions need an explanation or canon change, not silent special pleading.
- Unreliable in-world statements can contradict facts without breaking canon.
- Canon changes should propagate to affected artifacts.
## Quality gate
Continuity passes when chronology, geography, system rules, factions, terminology, and causal consequences are mutually compatible or intentionally revised, apparent contradictions are classified correctly, and any canon change has a traceable impact path.Is this your skill, or is something wrong with this listing?
