# Contingency Review
Choose a plausible disruption and walk through the first hour, first day, and several days if relevant. Check communication, food/water, medications, power/charging, shelter, transport, cash/payment alternatives, dependents, and information sources.
Identify the smallest missing preparations with the highest practical value. Avoid escalating into remote catastrophic scenarios without evidence.
