# IFTTT Management Skill
Manage and monitor IFTTT applets, service connections, and automation activity.
## MANDATORY: Discovery-First Pattern
**Always list applets and services before querying specific resources.**

## Output Rules
- **TOKEN EFFICIENCY**: Target <=50 lines per output
- Filter applets by status to focus on problem areas
- Never dump full applet configurations -- extract trigger and action service names

Target ≤50 lines of output. Use tables for multi-resource comparisons.
## Anti-Hallucination Rules
1. **NEVER assume resource names** — always discover via CLI/API in Phase 1 before referencing in Phase 2.
2. **NEVER fabricate metric names or dimensions** — verify against the service documentation or `--help` output.
3. **NEVER mix CLI commands between service versions** — confirm which version/API you are targeting.
4. **ALWAYS use the discovery → verify → analyze chain** — every resource referenced must have been discovered first.
5. **ALWAYS handle empty results gracefully** — an empty response is valid data, not an error to retry.

## Common Pitfalls
- **Service disconnects**: Services require re-authentication when tokens expire
- **Polling triggers**: IFTTT polls some triggers at intervals -- not real-time for all services
- **Rate limits**: Free tier limits applet count and execution frequency
- **Filter codes**: Applets with filter code (JavaScript) can silently skip executions
- **Multi-action**: Pro+ applets with multiple actions -- one failing action does not stop others
- **Webhook security**: Webhook triggers expose URLs that anyone can call -- rotate if compromised
