## Anti-Hallucination Rules
1. **NEVER assume resource names** — always discover via CLI/API in Phase 1 before referencing in Phase 2.
2. **NEVER fabricate metric names or dimensions** — verify against the service documentation or `--help` output.
3. **NEVER mix CLI commands between service versions** — confirm which version/API you are targeting.
4. **ALWAYS use the discovery → verify → analyze chain** — every resource referenced must have been discovered first.
5. **ALWAYS handle empty results gracefully** — an empty response is valid data, not an error to retry.

## Common Pitfalls
- **Session management**: Sessions expire — call `/initSession` to get a new token when receiving 401
- **App-Token required**: Both `Session-Token` and `App-Token` headers are required for API access
- **Range-based pagination**: Use `range=0-49` format (start-end) — not offset/limit
- **Status values**: `notold` = not solved/closed, `old` = solved/closed — or use numeric IDs (1-6)
- **Search criteria**: Complex queries use `criteria[]` array format with `field`, `searchtype`, `value`
- **Entity restrictions**: Results filtered by user's entity (organizational unit) permissions
- **Item types**: Endpoint names match GLPI class names exactly — case-sensitive (e.g., `Computer`, `NetworkEquipment`)
