## Anti-patterns

- Submitting a one-mechanism finding as a 50-page Article (or four studies as a Report)
- Leaving author-identifying citations or file metadata in a double-blind submission
- Treating open data/materials as a post-acceptance chore instead of preparing it now
- Asterisk-only tables with no effect sizes/CIs (fails the rigor-era bar)
- Quoting "Elsevier / Editorial Manager" from the stale source map — re-verify on the Wiley/myscp page
