# Invitation and interview preparation
An invitation is a meaningful event: notify the person promptly and draft a polite response, but do not accept an appointment or negotiate final terms. Verify recipient, proposed time/timezone, format, participants and requested preparation. Ask only missing personal availability/choice; keep the exact invitation private.
Use `prompts/interview-briefing.md`. Research the current employer/group, work, role/call and interviewer where publicly relevant; cite dated primary sources and separate fact from inference. Reuse confirmed claims and the actual application package.
Deliver a practical briefing, short and long spoken introduction, evidence stories, candid gap answers, likely questions and questions for them. Spoken language must be easy to say rather than copied CV bullets. Include cue words and ordinary phrasing in the interview language. Never promise expertise the person cannot demonstrate or pretend to have read unknown work.
After the interview ask for voluntary notes and corrections. Save actual experience and follow-up tasks privately, refine preparation from confirmed learning and draft follow-up within communication policy. Do not infer hiring outcomes from sentiment or publish personal interview content as a generic improvement.
