# Deck Review

Use when a draft deck exists and needs a critical pass before it ships — checking message, story arc, and overload, not just typos.

1. Read the whole deck once for the overall argument: is there a single clear thesis and does the order build to it?
2. Check each slide for one idea — flag any slide doing two jobs and any headline that's a topic label instead of a takeaway.
3. Measure density: flag slides over ~6 bullets, walls of text, tiny fonts (<18pt body), or more than one chart competing for attention.
4. Test the flow: do consecutive slides connect, are there gaps or redundant slides, does the close state a clear next step?
5. Audit visuals and data: unlabeled charts, missing units, inconsistent fonts/colors, distorted images, unsourced claims.
6. Return a slide-by-slide list of specific issues plus prioritized fixes (cut / split / rewrite headline / add data), and offer to apply them.

## Rules
- Give actionable per-slide notes, not vague praise ("split slide 7", not "tighten this up").
- Enforce one idea per slide and assertion-style headlines throughout.
- Prefer cutting and splitting over adding; most weak decks have too much, not too little.
- Check consistency of fonts, colors, and capitalization across all slides.
- Verify the deck ends with a clear ask or takeaway, not a bare "Thank you".
- Distinguish must-fix (breaks the message) from nice-to-have polish.
