**Track:** ๐Ÿงฐ Engineering Essentials ยท **Domain:** Collaboration Workflow ยท **Level:** foundation ยท **~25 min**

**Who this is for:** All Software Engineers

## When to Use This Skill

Commit hygiene, branch strategy, and recovery skills preventing shared-repo disasters.
Use it whenever a matching task appears in conversation โ€” the agent loads these instructions on demand.

## Steps

1. Atomic commits: one logical change, imperative message with why
2. Branch names carry ticket refs: feat/123-short-slug
3. Rebase local before PR; merge only via repo's chosen strategy
4. Master interactive rebase, reflog rescue, and bisect fluently
5. Never rewrite shared branches; force-push with lease only when agreed
6. Tag releases and keep changelog in sync mechanically
7. Inspect supervision trees and mailbox depths via :observer
8. Benchmark with Benchee; watch BEAM scheduler reductions

## Common Pitfalls

- git push --force default aliasing over teammates
- Thousand-line 'WIP' commits nobody can review

## Commands

**Install with skills CLI**
```bash
npx skills add aniruddhaadak80/skills --skill collab-workflow-git-discipline-elixir
```

**Install globally**
```bash
npx skills add aniruddhaadak80/skills --skill collab-workflow-git-discipline-elixir -g
```

Hyperplan

Adversarial multi-agent planning skill. Self-orchestrates 5 hostile category members (unspecified-low, unspecified-high, deep, ultrabrain, artistry) via team-mode for ruthless cross-critique debate, distills only the defensible insights, then MANDATORILY hands the distilled insight bundle to the `plan` agent for executable plan formalization. Use when planning needs maximum rigor and surfacing of weak assumptions, blind spots, and over-engineering. Triggers: 'hyperplan', 'hpp', '/hyperplan', ...

catchup

Recovers the conversation and failed tool calls of a previous Codex, Amp, Claude Code, Antigravity, Cline, Copilot CLI, Cursor, DeepSeek Harness, Grok Build, Kimi, OpenCode, Pi Agent, or ZCode session. Use when the user says "catch up", "what did the last session do", "get me up to speed", "I switched agents", asks to recover/summarize a previous session before continuing, or asks to diagnose or report a catchup failure. Do NOT use for the current conversation, git history, or any non-agent log.
