# Review code like a senior engineer (.NET)

> Review order, comment quality, and scope discipline making PRs fast and kind.

**Track:** ๐Ÿงฐ Engineering Essentials ยท **Domain:** Code Quality ยท **Level:** foundation ยท **~25 min**

**Who this is for:** All Software Engineers

## When to Use This Skill

Review order, comment quality, and scope discipline making PRs fast and kind.
Use it whenever a matching task appears in conversation โ€” the agent loads these instructions on demand.

## Steps

1. Read description and tests FIRST to learn intent
2. Check correctness and security before style nits
3. Comment questions/observations vs required-changes distinctly
4. Keep nitpicks batched as one optional pass
5. Approve explicitly when remaining items are optional
6. Aim same-day first response; latency kills momentum
7. Review GC modes per workload type (workstation/server)
8. Benchmark with BenchmarkDotNet; beware allocation in loops

## Common Pitfalls

- Style wars the formatter should own
- LGTM rubber-stamps on 2000-line diffs

## Commands

Hyperplan

Adversarial multi-agent planning skill. Self-orchestrates 5 hostile category members (unspecified-low, unspecified-high, deep, ultrabrain, artistry) via team-mode for ruthless cross-critique debate, distills only the defensible insights, then MANDATORILY hands the distilled insight bundle to the `plan` agent for executable plan formalization. Use when planning needs maximum rigor and surfacing of weak assumptions, blind spots, and over-engineering. Triggers: 'hyperplan', 'hpp', '/hyperplan', ...

catchup

Recovers the conversation and failed tool calls of a previous Codex, Amp, Claude Code, Antigravity, Cline, Copilot CLI, Cursor, DeepSeek Harness, Grok Build, Kimi, OpenCode, Pi Agent, or ZCode session. Use when the user says "catch up", "what did the last session do", "get me up to speed", "I switched agents", asks to recover/summarize a previous session before continuing, or asks to diagnose or report a catchup failure. Do NOT use for the current conversation, git history, or any non-agent log.
