# Use Sim for orchestrated AI agent workflow runs
Build and run repeatable AI agent workflows in Sim by composing agents, tools, triggers, and integrations on a visual canvas.
## Prerequisites
Docker; npx or Docker Compose; Sim integrations as needed
## Installation
Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:
- npx simstudio
- Docker must be installed and running on your machine.
- git clone https://github.com/simstudioai/sim.git && cd sim
- docker compose -f docker-compose.prod.yml up -d
Requirements and caveats from upstream:
- | --no-pull | Skip pulling latest Docker images |
- ### Self-hosted: Docker Compose
- Sim also supports local models via [Ollama](https://ollama.ai) and [vLLM](https://docs.vllm.ai/) — see the [Docker self-hosting docs](https://docs.sim.ai/self-hosting/docker) for setup details.
Basic usage or getting-started notes:
-
The open-source platform to build AI agents and run your agentic workforce. Connect 1,000+ integrations and LLMs to orchestrate agentic workflows.

- Design agent workflows visually on a canvas—connect agents, tools, and blocks, then run them instantly.
