# Share local project memory across coding agents with Memorix

Use Memorix when multiple coding agents or sessions need a shared, searchable, local-first project memory instead of isolated chat history.

## Prerequisites

Node.js 22.18 or newer; Git; a supported coding agent or MCP-capable client; local filesystem access

## Installation

Install or set up from the source-backed instructions:

Install with npm install -g memorix. Then run memorix init --global and memorix setup --agent --global, replacing with claude, codex, cursor, gemini-cli, opencode, openclaw, or another supported agent.
