# Papermark Open Source Document Sharing Platform with Analytics
Papermark is an open-source alternative to DocSend for secure document sharing with built-in page-by-page analytics, custom branding, custom domains, and self-hosting support. Built with Next.js and PostgreSQL.
## Installation
Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:
- git clone https://github.com/mfts/papermark.git
- ### 2. Install npm dependencies
- npm install
- npm run dev:prisma
Requirements and caveats from upstream:
- Node.js (version >= 18.17.0)
- We use pipenv to manage our Python dependencies. If you don't have it installed, you can install it using the following command:
