# Manage parallel coding agents with Agent of Empires

Use Agent of Empires to launch, monitor, sandbox, resume, and review multiple coding-agent sessions from a TUI or web dashboard.

## Prerequisites

Agent of Empires CLI, tmux, git, an installed coding-agent CLI such as Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor CLI, or Copilot CLI, plus optional Docker/Podman/Apple Containers for sandboxed sessions.

## Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:
- brew install aoe
- git clone https://github.com/agent-of-empires/agent-of-empires
- cargo check # Type-check
- cargo test # Run tests

Requirements and caveats from upstream:
- **Docker sandboxing**: isolate agents in containers with shared auth volumes (Podman and Apple Containers also supported)
- **Prerequisites:** [tmux](https://github.com/tmux/tmux/wiki) (required), [Docker](https://www.docker.com/) (optional, for sandboxing)
