# khal Standards-Based CLI Calendar Application
khal is a standards-based CLI and terminal calendar program written in Python. It reads and writes iCalendar data to vdir format, synchronizes with CalDAV servers via vdirsyncer, and provides both a command-line interface for scripting and an interactive terminal UI (ikhal) for browsing and editing events.
## Installation
Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:
