# Control Blender Scenes from MCP Agents with BlenderMCP

Use BlenderMCP when an MCP-capable agent needs to inspect, create, and modify Blender scenes through a controlled Blender bridge.

## Prerequisites

Blender 3.0+, Python 3.10+, uv/uvx, the BlenderMCP Blender add-on, and an MCP-capable client such as Claude Desktop or another MCP host.

## Installation

Install or set up from the source-backed instructions:

Install uv from a trusted package manager, add an MCP server entry that runs `uvx blender-mcp`, install the upstream Blender add-on from the BlenderMCP repository, open Blender, enable the add-on, click Connect, then use the MCP client to operate the scene.
