# Concurrently Parallel Command Runner for npm Scripts
Concurrently runs multiple commands in parallel with color-coded output, prefix labels, and process lifecycle management. With 14M+ weekly npm downloads, it is the standard tool for running dev servers, watchers, and build processes simultaneously.
## Installation
Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:
- npm run watch-js & npm run watch-css. That's fine but it's hard to keep
Requirements and caveats from upstream:
- The tool is written in Node.js, but you can use it to run **any** commands.
- const concurrently = require('concurrently');
- See [Node.js docs](https://nodejs.org/docs/latest/api/child_process.html#subprocesssendmessage-sendhandle-options-callback).
Basic usage or getting-started notes:
- Run multiple commands concurrently.
- Like npm run watch-js & npm run watch-less but better.
