### Cleaning Routine

For recurring passes, use the Recurring Passes section of `grim:council:guild:ops`.

1. Revisit the previous cleanup batch. Check what was applied, what still matters, and what was deliberately left alone.
2. Review current git status and the relevant changed files, docs, skills, and recent chat context to understand the mess and preserve active work.
3. Find clutter that obscures the intended system: duplication, dead paths, stale references, confusing organization, redundant prose, or obsolete generated material. Check purpose and provenance before proposing removal.
4. Return a focused cleanup batch with exact targets and a safe execution order. Separate quick wins from larger or risky refactors; distinguish housekeeping from decisions to retire a still-useful feature or workflow.
5. Include "what to leave alone for now" so cleanup energy does not become churn. Preserve unrelated user changes and active generated assets.
6. Do not silently edit docs, skills, memory files, commits, or external systems. Apply only the cleanup the user authorizes.
7. Suggest the smallest useful next step and report back in the current conversation or the user's configured routine destination.
