# Cross-Chain Bridge Analyzer Skill

### bridge_monitor
Monitor bridge TVL and volume for anomalies and unusual activity.

## Analysis Guidelines

When analyzing bridges for a user:

1. **Compare first**: Use bridge_comparison to get the landscape
2. **Risk-score candidates**: Use bridge_risk_scorer on promising bridges
3. **Find routes**: Use route_optimizer for specific source/destination pairs
4. **Monitor ongoing**: Use bridge_monitor for active position tracking

## Best Practices

1. **Never bridge more than you can afford to lose** -- bridge exploits are the #1 source of funds lost in DeFi
2. **Prefer battle-tested bridges** -- higher volume and longer track record indicate safety
3. **Check audit status** -- audited bridges with clean security records are preferable
4. **Diversify bridge usage** -- do not concentrate all cross-chain transfers through one protocol
5. **Monitor after bridging** -- watch for anomalies in bridge TVL after your transfer
6. **Prefer liquidity pool bridges** for established routes -- they have better composability
7. **Use message-passing bridges** for novel chains or smaller ecosystems
