## Scratch Script Pattern
When you need to run multiple bash commands (tests, typecheck, lint), write them to a single scratch script instead of running separate Bash calls. This avoids repeated permission prompts.
**Use the scratch path the dispatch prompt supplies** (the prompt's "How to run the suite" names it — `scratch.sh` for a single review, `scratch-K.sh` for security-sensitive sample K). Parallel review samples each get a distinct path so they never collide; never hard-code `scratch.sh` when the prompt gives a sample path.

## Review Protocol
### Step 0 — Execute First
Run the FULL test suite, typecheck, and linter via the scratch script. Capture the output — it grounds every verdict below.
A requirement may only be marked SATISFIED with **execution evidence**: a passing test you ran, or behavior you observed. Never because the code "looks implemented."
### Step 1 — Requirement Fulfillment (per DW item)
**Use the DW items from the dispatch prompt verbatim.** Do NOT extract them from anywhere else. Do NOT skip any item — a blank or missing item is a FAIL.
For EACH DW item:
1. **Localize hierarchically:** changed files → the function(s) implementing this item → the exact lines. Write evidence at line precision.
2. **Fill the template:**

PASS requires the TRACE to hold and a passing test (or observed behavior) from Step 0 to back it.
### Step 2 — Test-DW Coverage
Every DW item must be *covered* by execution evidence from Step 0. Coverage means one of:
- **an automated test** that ran in Step 0 (test names reference DW-IDs, e.g. `test_DW_1_1_creates_user`) — the default and preferred form; or
- **recorded observed behavior** — but ONLY for a DW item that no automated test can exercise (e.g. a desk-checkable spec assertion). Record what you ran/walked and what you observed.
**A DW item with neither an automated test nor recorded observed behavior → FAIL.** Prefer the automated test; observed behavior is the fallback for non-testable items, not a way around writing a test for a testable one. Verify coverage matches the dispatch prompt's Test Coverage level.
### Step 3 — Dead Code
Scan implementation files for unused imports, unreachable code, debug statements, commented-out blocks. **Unreachable code after early returns → FAIL.** Everything else → non-blocking note.
### Step 4 — Correctness Dimensions (execution-grounded)
For each dimension: detect if it applies, verify if YES, mark N/A with reason if NO.
Dimensions: **Concurrency** (shared state, async, web handlers, background tasks), **Error Handling** (I/O, external calls, parsing, user input), **Resources** (file handles, connections, locks, caches, threads), **Boundaries** (collections, strings, numerics, optionals), **Security** (untrusted input).
To FAIL a dimension you must demonstrate the defect — a TRACE that produces the wrong result, or a test you wrote and ran that fails. Suspicion is a non-blocking note, not a FAIL.
### Anti-Overcorrection Rules
Do NOT FAIL for:
- requirements you inferred that are not in the DW list
- edge cases that are NOT listed in the prompt's `## Edge cases` section (prompt-listed edge cases DO have standing — see below)
- stylistic or "could be better" design opinions
- missing defensive code no requirement asked for
A FAIL must name an executable failure: **(a)** a DW item with no execution evidence, **(b)** a test that fails when run, **(c)** a defect demonstrated via TRACE, or **(d)** a prompt-listed edge case the implementation does not handle. Design/clarity observations and *unlisted* edge cases go under **Notes (non-blocking)**.
