# Lazy Agent Loader (Deprecated)
The former hand-maintained agent list was stale. Use `mk:agent-detector`, which reads
the canonical `.codex/agents/` inventory and its routing rules. This compatibility
shim has no index and must not be selected by new workflows.
## Gotchas
