# Stock Technical Analysis
Simple technical analysis for stocks using Yahoo Finance data.
## What it does
Calculates:
- **SMA20**: 20-day simple moving average
- **SMA50**: 50-day simple moving average
- **RSI (14-day)**: Relative Strength Index
- **20-day range**: High/low position
- **Buy/Hold/Sell signals** based on technical indicators
## Quick Start
Analyze a single stock:
```bash
python3 scripts/analyze_stocks.py
```
Or analyze specific tickers:
```bash
python3 scripts/analyze_stocks.py 0700.HK 1810.HK TSLA NVDA
```
## Supported Tickers
- **0700.HK**: Tencent Holdings
- **1810.HK**: Xiaomi Group
- **TSLA**: Tesla
- **NVDA**: NVIDIA
- Any other Yahoo Finance ticker
## Analysis Output
Each stock gets:
- Current price & change
- Moving average analysis (price vs SMA20, SMA20 vs SMA50)
- 20-day range position (0% = low, 100% = high)
- RSI (14-day) with overbought/oversold warnings
- Summary signal (Bullish/Bearish/Neutral)
## No Dependencies
Uses only Python standard library + Yahoo Finance public API (no extra packages needed).
