# Canva Load & Scale
## Overview
Load test and scale Canva Connect API integrations. Since Canva enforces per-user rate limits, scaling means distributing load across users, not increasing per-user throughput.
## Prerequisites
- Written authorization for load testing, a protected non-production tenant/assets, and current provider/account limits.
- A fixed budget, concurrency ceiling, abort threshold, and incident owner.
## Instructions
1. Use synthetic assets and least-privilege test identities; never spread load across users or integrations to circumvent provider limits.
2. Start below the account limit, increase one dimension at a time, and stop automatically at error/rate/cost thresholds.
3. Record aggregate results and reconcile all created jobs/artifacts before ending the test.
## Canva Rate Limit Constraints

**Key insight:** The integration-wide export limit of 5,000/day across ALL users is the most constraining for high-volume scenarios.

## Output
Load testing produces a redacted test plan, aggregate throughput/latency/error/rate metrics, abort decision, and cleanup/reconciliation receipt. It excludes production assets, OAuth data, design contents, and user identifiers.
## Examples
Run a short k6 test against a synthetic design workflow with a fixed low virtual-user cap and an automatic abort on 429s. Use the result to size queues within the documented limits; do not add accounts or distribute requests across identities to create artificial throughput.
## Error Handling
