# Apply Currency Hedging Strategy
When holding assets or expecting cash flows denominated in a foreign currency, deliberately decide whether and how much of the resulting currency exposure to hedge — using forwards, futures, or options — so that currency movements don't dominate or obscure the return of the underlying investment or business activity the currency exposure is merely incidental to.
