# Post-Quantum Pharmacovigilance Pipeline
Design and implement post-quantum cryptographic (PQC) security for pharmacovigilance and healthcare data pipelines.
## Cryptographic Stack
| Layer | Primitive | Purpose |
|-------|-----------|---------|
| Key Establishment | ML-KEM-768 | Post-quantum key exchange |
| Key Derivation | HKDF-SHA-256 | Derive AES key from shared secret |
| Encryption | AES-256-GCM | Efficient symmetric file encryption |
| Signatures | ML-DSA-65 | Digital signatures, tamper detection |
## Pipeline Architecture
```
Hospital → Gateway → Pharma Receiver
↑ ↑ ↑
Encrypt Route Decrypt + Verify
(ML-KEM + (Forward) (ML-DSA verify +
AES-GCM) AES-GCM decrypt)
```
### Components
1. **Hospital**: Encrypts files with ML-KEM-768 + AES-256-GCM
2. **Gateway**: Routes encrypted data
3. **Pharma Receiver**: Verifies ML-DSA-65 signatures, decrypts
4. **Attacker**: Simulates interception attempts
5. **Benchmarking**: Measures latency/overhead
6. **Dashboard**: Monitoring and visualization
## File Format Support
- TXT, CSV, JSON, PDF
- Raw byte-level processing preserves metadata
- Reconstruction at receiver end
## Performance Characteristics
- ML-KEM: Small constant overhead (independent of file size)
- AES encryption: Dominates runtime as file size increases
- ML-DSA signing: Dominates runtime as file size increases
- Distributed crypto processing: Significantly lower latency than sequential
## Implementation Notes
- This is an **educational prototype**, not production-ready
- Focus on systems-level PQC integration patterns
- Raspberry Pi testbed validated feasible resource overhead
- Future: energy-aware architectures, intelligent security optimization
## Activation
pqc pharmacovigilance, post-quantum healthcare, ML-KEM pipeline, ML-DSA healthcare, quantum-secure drug safety, pharmacovigilance encryption, healthcare PQC migration, ML-KEM-768, ML-DSA-65
